Cynthia Chan, Board of Directors
Cynthia Chan has a corporate HR background. She has worked with Fortune 50 companies including IBM, ExxonMobil and Johnson & Johnson. Cynthia has more than 25 years of experience working in people development. She is currently an ICF accredited (PCC) executive coach focusing on leadership assessment and development. She served on the Board of the Asia Pacific Alliance of Coaches (www.apacoaches.org) from 2007 – 2015 where she initiated and led a number of pro-bono coaching projects to promote leadership effectiveness of NGO leaders. She has also served on the research committee and contributed to the 4th and 5th Coaching Survey: An Asia Benchmark study on the coaching industry and a team research paper on the Future of Coaching in Asia. She currently serves on the board of SOWHKF. She would like to see the young people of HK thrive and transition well into the working world. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce at Carleton University, Canada and a Master’s degree in Asian Development Studies at City University of Hong Kong.
